Return Policy

ONLINE RETURN POLICY

Regular stock items purchased online may be returned with valid proof of purchase within (7) days of delivery of the order.

To facilitate the return or exchange of an online purchase customers should contact the I.O. Metro Customer Service Center (1-888-223-5628). I.O. Metro will not accept returns that are not authorized by our Customer Service Center within (7) days of receipt. Shipping charges are not refundable and the customer is responsible for any incurred return shipping charges. The customer refund amount will be reduced by a restocking fee equal to 25% of the item purchase price plus a return shipping fee equal to the original shipping charge. The final refund amount will be issued to the original credit card or gift card used for the purchase within (5) business days of the return receipt of the product to the I.O. Metro warehouse. Refunds will appear on the customer credit card statement within (7) business days of the processed return.

All return items must be properly packaged in the original shipping containers and materials. Please insure your package; the customer accepts full monetary responsibility for the replacement or repair costs of any damage incurred to the item during the return shipment.

Please do not return items purchased online to our retail store locations.

  • Sale/Markdown Items (price ending in $.99)
  • Mattress or Box Springs

CANCELLATIONS

  • No cancellations are accepted on custom or special-order products.
  • For all other items, I.O. Metro will accept a cancellation for a full refund if the item has not shipped. If the item has shipped, the company return policy and procedures will be followed.

SHIPPING CHARGES

All original shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable for items purchased online. I.O. Metro will not reimburse any unauthorized shipping expenses; including overnight, express or other shipping used at the customer's own discretion.

LOCAL STORE RETURN POLICY

STORE PICKUP ORDERS

Regular priced items, in original condition, may be returned to the store location from which the purchase was originally made, up to (14) days after the original pickup date. The final return amount will be issued to the original credit card or gift card. No cash refunds will be distributed. Cash payments will be refunded in the form of a refund check.

DELIVERY ORDERS

Delivery orders can be returned within (7) days of receiving the product. Customers should contact the I.O. Metro Customer Service Center (1.888.223.5628) to facilitate a return; if authorized, a pickup will be scheduled. I.O. Metro will not accept returns that are not authorized by our Customer Service Center within (7) days of the product receipt. In-home Delivery Service shipping charges are not refundable, and the customer is responsible for any incurred return shipping (pickup) charges. The customer refund amount will be reduced by a return restocking fee equal to 25% of the item purchase price, and an In-Home Delivery Service pickup charge equal to the original In-Home Delivery Service delivery charge. The final refund amount will be issued to the original credit card or gift card used for the purchase within (5) business days of return of the product to I.O. Metro. Once processed, refunds should appear on the customer credit card statement within (7) business days. If the customer has received a damaged, defective or incorrect item, the product warranty service will be provided at no charge.

Furniture that is refused because it does not fit through an entryway will be refunded in merchandise or store credit only.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

  • To cancel a delivery order, the customer should contact the Customer Service Center (1.888.223.5628). To cancel a store pickup order, the customer should contact the store location from which the product was purchased. The refund amount will be issued to the original credit card or gift card.
  • Checks are not accepted.
  • No cash refunds will be distributed. Cash payments will be refunded in the form of a refund check.
  • Online purchases may not be returned at I.O. Metro store locations. Please call customer service to arrange a return or cancellation of an online purchase: 1.888.223.5628.

DAMAGED ITEMS

It is important that you inspect your new furniture carefully while the delivery team is still at your home. If you have received damaged or defective merchandise, we require that you document any visible problems relating to your purchase immediately upon delivery by writing a detailed description of the issue and the box condition(s) on the shipper's delivery receipt.

DO NOT REFUSE THE DELIVERY unless there is significant damage as additional charges may apply. Should you refuse a delivery that I.O. Metro determines unwarranted, you will be required to pay any additional re-delivery fees. Unwarranted refusals include (but are not limited to): items not fitting through a doorway and minor or repairable damage/defects like scratches, chips, dents, or missing pieces. We partner with professionally-trained repair technicians for all minor service issues.

Any claim on damaged or defective merchandise must be submitted to the I.O. Metro Customer Service Center (1-888-223-5628) within (3) days of the delivery.
